Dog house size comes down to one measurement and one rule. Measure your dog from nose to tail while standing, add 2 to 3 inches on each side so they can lie down stretched out, and size the doorway at roughly three quarters of their shoulder height, wide enough to enter easily, narrow enough to keep warmth in. Height should let the dog stand without ducking. A house that is too large is worse than one that is slightly snug, because the dog’s body heat cannot warm the space in winter. Check our size categories, Medium, Large and Small, then verify the internal dimensions on the product page before ordering.
