I was tired of having a giant, ugly wire cage taking up half of my living room, so I finally pulled the trigger on this 47-inch furniture-style crate. Honestly, it’s one of the best upgrades I’ve made for my home this year.Assembly took me about 45 minutes. The instructions were straightforward, and everything lined up surprisingly well for a flat-pack piece.
Once it’s put together, it feels incredibly solid. I’m currently using it as a media console/side table, and it easily holds my heavy lamps and a stack of books without any wobbling.The size is perfect for my 70lb Lab. He has plenty of room to stretch out and doesn’t feel cramped. I especially love the double-door design; it gives me so much more flexibility with where I can place it in the room.
